I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel recently, and I cannot say enough positive things about my experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by a staff that was not just helpful, but incredibly, very, and extremely helpful. Their dedication to making my stay unforgettable and positive truly stood out. First and foremost, the staff's positive attitude was infectious. They went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my stay was perfect. Whether it was helping me with my luggage, offering recommendations for local attractions and restaurants, or simply providing a warm and friendly smile, they consistently exceeded my expectations. The attention to detail in this hotel was remarkable. My room was immaculate, and the amenities provided made me feel like a valued guest. The comfortable bed and tasteful decor added to the overall sense of luxury and comfort. I couldn't have asked for a better place to relax after a long day of exploring the city. One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional dining experience at the hotel's restaurant. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The waitstaff was attentive and knowledgeable, making dining here a true pleasure. Additionally, the location of the hotel was perfect for exploring the city. It was conveniently situated near many of the attractions I wanted to visit, making it easy to get around and see everything on my list. In summary, my stay at this hotel was nothing short of fantastic, and I credit the amazing staff for making it such a positive and unforgettable experience. If you're looking for a hotel that combines top-notch service, a positive atmosphere, and a convenient location, I wholeheartedly recommend staying here. I can't wait for my next visit, and I know exactly where I'll be booking my stay!

This boutique hotel is family owned, and the family is there most everyday, they take an active involvement in all of the affairs to provide a personal touch and ensure the highest quality. I really enjoyed meeting them and learning more about the area and the hotel itself. The owner provided excellent restaurant recommendations, we talked cars, and his son Francisco, the Guest Relations manager, provided an excellent trip idea for a drive up into the mountains of Sintra and Colares. They provided a bottle of water on check-in, a personal greeting card with chocolates in the room, and a note on the day of checkout. The bar tenders were great, especially the man who runs the bar at night. We had good conversations and he made good drinks. The hotel has excellent modern amenities, comfortable beds, and a fast internet connection that is good enough for streaming, video calls, or gaming (at least during the off season when I was there). This hotel also has an iron and ironing board in the room! Many hotels in Portugal I've stayed at lack these so you're waiting on housekeeping's hours to access them, and some have had neither, leaving you with wrinkled clothes. This is definitely a big plus from me as I like to press the wrinkles out of my clothes after traveling. The pool is very nice, with great views of the buildings around it while still feeling secluded. Location wise, it's about perfect. A short walk from the main waterfront, train stop, and beach, but being off the main road, not busy and noisy at all hours like that tends to be. I hope to return in the future, this place is excellent.

Our stay at Hotel Inglaterra was nothing short of magical, right from the moment we arrived. The impeccable greeting from the staff set the tone for our experience, and we were delighted to receive a complimentary upgrade upon check-in. Each suite in this remarkable hotel is themed, and ours was stunning, featuring two French balcony doors that offered breathtaking views over the city and the ocean. As we settled in, we were immediately struck by the hotel's blend of historic charm and modern elegance, with beautiful art adorning the walls against the backdrop of its regal architecture. This family-run establishment truly goes above and beyond; they not only prioritize your comfort but ensure every detail contributes to a memorable experience. The curated dining and entertainment recommendations they provided were spot on, enhancing our stay even further. Mornings at the hotel were a treat, with a breakfast spread that left us in awe—fresh cheeses, assorted meats, eggs, an array of ripe fruits, yogurt, and an impressive coffee selection, all complemented by a beautiful display of honeycomb, nuts, and dried fruits. One evening, we indulged in room service, opting for the lasagna, soup, and dessert, which turned out to be one of the best meals we enjoyed throughout our trip. After exploring various places across Portugal, I can confidently say that Hotel Inglaterra is my favorite hotel thus far, earning the top spot for our travels in 2025. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

Staff were so warm, friendly and kind. They made us feel very safe and welcomed. Large calm bedroom with a bath (we stayed in room 205) - I only wish we’d had a balcony (like next door room 106) but the place was full. Pool is gorgeous, especially great after a hot day. Feels very clean with no chlorine and lovely views. Breakfasts are excellent. Overall it was a very friendly and calm hotel, we slept very well, other guests were really nice, and the staff are just generally very eager to please and helpful. Ten min walk to the beach and Estoril train station. A Continente mini market two mins walk away, also a few shops (clothes, bakery, couple of restaurants) but on a quiet residential hill. Would definitely return.

Hotel Inglaterra is a charming and historic hotel, beautifully located in the heart of Estoril. With its elegant early 20th-century architecture, it offers a sense of timelessness alongside modern comfort. The rooms are spacious with lovely views, and the pool is perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach or exploring. The staff were exceptionally helpful and made my stay truly enjoyable. Its location is ideal for discovering Lisbon, Sintra, and Cascais — and you’re just steps away from the famous Casino Estoril, said to have inspired Ian Fleming’s Casino Royale. I’ll definitely be returning. Many thanks to the wonderful team and the hotel manager for such a memorable experience.
